Who loves ice cream?

We LOVE ice cream; almost as much as honey. It is definitely one of our top five favorite foods lol. I am not going to lie had some trouble with this recipe, it has taken me quiet a few months to get the consistency just right. I think I finally figured out how to make it work. I have had loads of people ask how to make a dairy free ice cream; so I began playing in the kitchen with a simple way to do it. Lets face it many people are struggling for time and it has been getting harder to make things at home! I did add the chocolate and caramel whipped honeys, so if you want this completely dairy free keep those out. So here is my simple Honey Banana Ice Cream.

Ingredients:

3- ripe medium banana’s

1 cup- Cashew milk

1/4- 1/2 cup honey

1/4 cup- chocolate whipped honey (optional)

1/4 cup- caramel whipped honey (optional)

Directions: 

Unpeel the banana’s and cut them up into 1 inch chunks. Place them in a quart ziplock bag and freeze them over night. Place the frozen banana’s into the blender and start blending. Add 1/2 cup of cashew milk and let blend, add the second 1/2 cup and blend again. Add the 1/4 cup of honey. If you do not use the chocolate or caramel whipped honey or dairy free equivalent; add 1/2 cup of honey.

Tips:

-Add some crunch with adding a TBSP. of peanuts or almonds

-Add 1/4 cup of fresh fruit on top

-Add whip cream
